This privacy notices discloses Financial Planning Focus’s information gathering and dissemination practices regarding nonpublic personal information about individuals who compensate me for financial planning services.

I may collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information I receive from you in meetings, telephone conferences and correspondence, as well as forms that I may ask you to completed.
  • Information about your transactions with me, or others.
  • Information I receive from other service providers.

I may disclose all the information I collect, as described above, to nonaffiliated third parties that perform services on my behalf for my accounts, or otherwise, as I am required or permitted by law to do (e.g. subpoena, fraud investigation, regulatory report, IRS, CFP® Board, etc.).

Sometimes I do seek second opinions from other planners and service providers, and I will disclose information relevant to my specific inquiry.

Financial Planning Focus restricts access to your personal and account information to employees and advisor who need to know that information to provide services to you.  I maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

I do not provide your personal information to mailing list vendors or solicitors.
I require strict confidentiality in my agreements with unaffiliated third parties that require access to your personal information, including financial services companies, consultants, and auditors for the State securities and the CFP® Board.

If you become an inactive client, I will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.
